Meet Our Founder
Why is college still important? If ever I needed advice about medicine, construction, or history, I would ask someone much more educated than me. But college is more than just a degree, it's a safe place where students can explore new subjects, forge friendships with diverse peers, and grow as responsible contributors to society.
All About Me
As an only child raised in a minority neighborhood, I was bused across Los Angeles to attend better schools and open up opportunities. If there was one thing my parents instilled in me, it was to explore new places and cultures. And so, when the time for college arrived, I trekked as far away as possible and settled in Boston to pursue engineering.
From dorm life to lab research and student clubs, I soaked up every drop of academia as possible. Between juggling humanities electives and working at the IT department, my peers and I mentored underprivileged students in STEM, which ignited the teacher in me. And although I went on to become an engineer and entrepreneur, my most rewarding career was as a Technology Specialist, teaching at K-12 private schools.
All of which brings up the million dollar question, how can families afford higher education? Aside from scholarships, grants, and multiple jobs, there are no easy solutions for the majority of students. My own family struggled to meet each semester's expenses, plus I still spent years paying off college loans. Having dedicated ten years as a teacher and IT Director, I saw the disparity that families faced when contemplating tuition.
This is where crypto gives me hope, because it brings the chance of financial freedom to everyone. There are no pre-qualifications needed, no loan managers, and no office hours. Crypto is basically a collection of different coins and apps that live online and function like savings accounts or loan contracts, but they run 24/7 and anyone can use them. Oh, did I mention the double-digit APR's?
And the best part? The longer you "lock away" your crypto coins, such as ten or fifteen years, the better the chances that a higher value will be waiting for you. At the very least, especially if your children have many years before entering college, try exploring the various options that crypto has to offer. My own children will be waiting for their crypto savings to mature in the next decade or so. Have questions? Please reach out!
